Background info for this panel

Shlomo (protagonist) has written a screenplay, and now it's opening night. Now we are watching the movie. It is telling the story of the Jewish false Messiah of the 1660s, Shabbtai Tzvi.

Description of action

This panel is from the movie. Shabbtai Tzvi, a young man, is an ascetic student of Kaballah. This panel shows Shabbtai chanting the service in the synagogue, his face glowing. The entire synagogue is filled with the light he radiates. Please see reference links for Shabbtai Tzvi, Ottoman jews for clothing ideas, and Sephardic synagogues.

Caption

He frequently leads the morning davening (prayers). His countenance shines like Moses at Sinai; it holds the congregation spellbound.
